CMWSC Launches New Scholarship

CMWSC Launches New Scholarship Program

Creedmoor Maha Water Supply Corporation is proud to introduce its new scholarship program, approved by the Board of Directors in October 2025. This new initiative reflects CMWSC’s commitment to supporting education and investing in the future of our community.

Beginning this year, CMWSC will offer $2,000 scholarships to eligible members or immediate family members living in the same household as a CMWSC member in good standing.

Each scholarship will be distributed as $1,000 for the fall semester and $1,000 for the spring semester, provided the student maintains the required GPA and proof of enrollment in an accredited program.

Scholarships are available to Del Valle ISD, Lockhart ISD, and Hays CISD high school seniors who have been accepted as full-time students at an accredited college, university, or technical/trade school. Applicants pursuing a college or university degree must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, while applicants pursuing a technical or trade program must have a minimum 2.0 GPA at the time of application.

The deadline to apply is Friday, April 10, 2026.

My Water Drop Saves Campaign Launches in Our Community

Posted: February 20, 2026

Creedmoor Maha Water Supply Corporation is proud to launch our My Water Drop Saves campaign, a community-wide initiative designed to promote water conservation and recognize local businesses that are committed to protecting our most valuable resource.

Participating businesses will receive a campaign window cling to display at their facility, showing their support for water stewardship. Window clings will be delivered one to two weeks prior to the campaign.

Businesses also have the opportunity to complete an optional campaign Pledge to demonstrate their commitment to saving water. Signed pledges may be displayed at their location and returned to CMWSC for our records.

As a thank you for their participation, businesses will be recognized in our April and July Water Connect newsletter, as well as featured on our website and social media platforms.

We invite businesses throughout our service area to join us in showing that every drop matters. To participate, please contact Darla Damron at (512) 243-2113.

Together, we can make a difference — one drop at a time.
